Kamry Breazeale
Licensed Professional Counselor | ZenCare Vetted Therapist
Kamry was born and raised in south Mississippi on a chicken farm/cattle ranch. Through adolescence she spent much of her time rodeoing across the country, but she found herself most at home in Mississippi and she still currently resides there. Kamry is licensed in Montana, Wyoming, and New Hampshire! She graduated with her Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2019 and began working at a community mental health center while she completed her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from William Carey University in 2021. Since graduating she now has experience working with a wide variety of populations ranging from ages 4 to 75 in group, individual, and family settings; however, most of her experience is with adolescents and young adults.
Kamry really enjoys pulling from multiple theoretical approaches when working with clients in order to create a personalized approach for each client. She has experience working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Helping others with mental health concerns has been a dream of hers since high school and she prides herself on meeting clients where they are and guiding them through their struggles with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, relationship issues, family issues, and adjustment issues using a person centered approach. Kamry recognizes the impact that incorporating spirituality and faith based counseling can have on individuals who choose to do so and she welcomes the opportunity to incorporate these aspects into counseling when requested by clients.
She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and 2 dogs Ellie and Gus.
She has experience working with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
