She completed her undergraduate degree in Vocational Counseling at the University of Northern Colorado and her master’s in Community Counseling at Chadron State
College. Bonnie is licensed in Arizona, Montana, Washington, and Wyoming.
Bonnie’s 16 years of experience includes treating both those who have struggled with addictions and eating disorders, but also with the problems that accompany them, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting issues, and family of origin issues. She also
has experience working with adolescents and young adults who have experienced trauma, anxiety, gender dysphoria, grief, and family separation.
Bonnie’s approach combines Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered, and Internal Family Systems. Her goal is to establish a trusting and mutual relationship and a safe space where you can feel free to share your struggles and feelings without judgment. Her approach to counseling will vary depending on the needs of her clients and will combine the aspects of her own background and training to develop a treatment plan that meets the client’s
individual needs.
Bonnie has also worked with populations who experienced poverty and has established numerous community programs to prevent homelessness. In 2024, Bonnie was awarded the Lions Club Melvin Jones Award for providing exceptional community services. This
is the highest award that can be bestowed on a Lions Club member!
In her free time, you can find Bonnie experimenting with complex recipes in the kitchen, as cooking is a passion of hers. Bonnie loves the outdoors, enjoys hiking in national parks, and loves to travel. She also enjoys and values spending time with her family and pets.
